Part 9
Paul and i ran off together laughing. We didnt say anything to eachother until we stopped to rest on a tree.
"Are you still mad at me Paul?" i asked hoping that he would answer me. this time i was lucky.
"Yeah... but not as much"
"I really didnt mean it you know... the door was open and.."
"Just forget about it... id like to"
"Yeah?"
"yeah i would. Its been really hard working in All of our classes and not talking. I hate working in silence"
"Yeah me too... so we're ok then"
"Sure" He looked at me with the cutest smile. A smile i had seen before but believed i would never see it again.
So me and Paul went through the next 2 days having a blast. We went swimming in the waterfall, we hiked, we made camp fires and sang songs, We went horse riding... of course it was all to be in groups but we kept between ourselves most of the time. Mrs. Baskin announced that the Entertainment night was on and that we were going to be put in groups other than with our English Partners. I was put with a really shy girl named Alice and a pair of twins names Jane and Georgia.
Paul was glad to be working with Richard. He was more comfortable with people he knew. He was also working with a guy id only seen in drama. He was the biggest clown. Tim Ferguson i think his name was. We had to spend the whole day with out group and werent aloud to talk to anyone else. I was really wondering what they were going to do. Paul would look over and give me this look.. kind of like 'brace yourself'. Rich and Tim would also look over and wave in a really embarasing manner.
Hours later.. i was tired of doing the same skit over and over again, especially because i thought it was really really stupid. We all gathered in the hall and Mrs. Baskin announced who would go on. My group went 3rd and we didnt really get much of an applause, but hey, i wasnt expecting much.
Paul looked at me and raised his eye brows when Mrs. Baskin called out their group. Rich was on stage with his guitar and began clapping his hands together.
"Eyes this way please..." he began. Everyone laughed so hard, except Mrs. Baskin.
Paul and Tim skipped on to the stage area and stood next to Richard. Rich began playing chords and they did some sort of intro to a song where paul hurt his knee and stuff and they started singing a hilarious song about having sex with dogs in the park.
Everyone burst out into hysterical laughter, except Mrs. Baskin. In fact, she was so increadibly not laughing, that she stopped the performance half way through and sent all 3 of them out. The croud cheered and they all blew kisses out. Paul even blew one to me and im sure i blushed.
I went outside at first chance i could and i ran to the office so i could hear what was going on.
I placed my ear to the wall near the desk and waited for the talking to begin
