It was the year 1990, the Doug Anthony Allstars were in America doing their first tour there. The American audiences had been fairly receptive, not nearly as good as Australia and England though. They had finished their last concert and had decided to spend the day at Disneyland.

�Come on Rich! Don�t be a chicken!�

�Paul I am not going on that roller coaster. I value my life too much. Plus I�ve eaten lunch and I would like to refrain from seeing it come up again!�

�Please?�

�Paul I said no! Ask Tim!�

Paul pouted at Rich and then turned to Tim.

�Come on Timmy! You�ll come on it with me!�

Tim smiled.

�Alright Paul.�

Paul jumped excitedly and grabbed Tim�s hand, pulling him towards the ride. Rich just followed quietly behind, smiling to himself. Paul really was like a little boy sometimes, you couldn�t help but find it adorable though.

Rich sat and watched as Tim and Paul got on the ride together. He often did this, just sat and watched them both when they weren�t aware of it. It was so obvious, well to him at least, how much the two of them loved each other. And it wasn�t just a simple crush; it was love. He just wondered how long it would take them to get it together.

�Tim hold my hand.�

�Paul don�t be a girl.�

�Please?�

Tim looked over and saw that Paul was flashing the puppy-dog face at him. As soon as he saw it he couldn�t help but smile, and reached out and took Paul�s hand in his own.

Rich couldn�t help but laugh when Paul and Tim got off the ride. Paul was still jumping around, but Tim looked less than healthy. His face was deathly white and he looked like a skeleton. Paul and Rich led him over to a bench so he could sit down for a little while and recover.

Paul ran off and came back a few minutes later with a cold drink of lemonade. He handed it with Tim, who accepted it with a grateful smile. Rich looked at the two of them again, and decided it was time for him to intervene and just help give fate a little extra push.

�Paul can I talk to you for a minute?�

�Yeah sure. Tim we�ll be back in a sec.�

Tim watched as Paul and Rich had a quick conversation. Paul appeared to be a little embarrassed by whatever it was Rich was saying, but eventually he smiled and nodded, and Rich patted him on the shoulder. Paul walked back over and smiled down at Tim.

�Think you�re up for another ride Tim?�

�As long as it�s not one that will make me lose my lunch.�

�Trust me.�

Paul reached out a hand and pulled Tim to his feet. Tim looked over at Rich.

�You coming Rich?�

�No I�ll just wait here til you get back.�

Paul left Tim for a moment and walked over to Rich.

�Thank you Richie.�

�You�re welcome.�

Paul smiled and ruffled Rich�s hair, before walking back to Tim and leading him towards the ride Rich had suggested. When they got there Tim looked at Paul confused.

�The Love Machine?�

Paul blushed.

�Will you ride with me Tim?�

Tim smiled, then leant in close to Paul.

�Ride with you? Or just ride you?�

Paul felt a shiver run down his spine at Tim�s words. He looked up and smiled again, and together they walked over to get onto the ride, ignoring the looks they received from the staff. Paul jumped up and down on the seat.

�Hmm this is a really comfortable cushion.�

Tim smirked.

�Paul stop bouncing. You�ll need your energy for later.�

�Shut up Ferguson and give us a snog.�

Tim smiled and pulled Paul into his arms, and they put on the most interesting show ever seen at Disneyland.
