The Gnome who was lonely

Unce upon a time in the not too distant future, there lived a little gnome named Rove.

One day, Rove decided that he was lonely and wanted to find a partner to share all his gnome things so he packed up a small bag and set off into the bush (yes there are gnomes in the bush).

For days and days he walked and walked on his short gnome legs until he felt that he could walk no further and he came to the conclusion that he was the only gnome that existed.

Rove was very sad. So sad infact that he decided to drown himself in the puddle (which to him resembled a lake)which he was standing next to.
He placed his fingers up his nose, inhaled one breath and jumped into the water. Unfortunately gnomes tend to float so he just bobbed there annoyingly for a long time.

Finally he decided to give up on drowning himself and he set off on his journey home. About half way there he heard a small scream.

'heeeelp' he heard being called a short distance away. He dropped his gnome baggage and ran towards the calls to find a beautiful lady gnome trapped in a spider web. Without thinking, he leaped towards her and pulled her free of the web.

'Thankyou so much! you saved me from that nasty spider! my name is Amanda... Whats yours?'

He blushed as he helped her to stand and introduced himself in an overly masculin aussie tone.

'Rove'

Together they walked back to his tree and he learned all sorts of things about her. The first thing she did was insist on cleaning his tree, washing his clothes and making sure that he collected enough wood for the small gnome fire place. Rove got sick of this very quickly and so he convinced her to take a walk back to where the spider had caught her, insisting that he had lost something.

'i think i lost it over there' he told her pointing towards the web and she moved over towards it. He snuck up behind her, gave a small push and sent her flying right into the grips of the web. He sat and enthusiastically watched the large spider suck her blood and drain her of all life with a content smile on his face before walking home.

After this, he decided that it was better to live alone, and remained that way for the rest of his life... a whole 3 days.

The end.
