Richard woke up and looked around, wondering why was laying on a strange couch and not at home in his bed. He took in the appearance of the room and realized that he must have crashed at Paul’s house again. He rolled off the couch, and landed on someone on the floor.

“Ow fuck!”

Richard found himself face to face with Rove, who’d been sleeping on the floor next to the couch.

“Oops sorry Rove.”

”That’s alright. Just get off me can ya?”

Richard rolled off him and got to his feet. He bent down and offered a hand to Rove, who happily accepted it and got to his feet, trying to ignore the pain in his head and the way the room seemed to sway around him. He gestured towards the kitchen.

“Coffee?”

“Definitely.”

They made their way to the kitchen. Rich got the coffee ready while Rove sat down at the table, unable to stand up any longer. He shook his head and groaned.

“Tequila is evil stuff.”

"Depends how much you drink mate."

When the coffee was ready, Rich only poured one cup, handing it to Rove. Rove looked up at him quizzically.

“Aren’t you having one?”

“Yeah, I’ll go wake up Paul first.”

Rove smiled.

”What?”

“Nothing. Nothing at all.”

Richard ignored his smirk and headed out of the kitchen towards Paul’s bedroom. He knocked lightly but received no response, so he opened the door, sticking his head inside. He smiled at the sight before him.

Paul was lying flat on his back on the bed. A thin white sheet covered the lower half of his body, leaving his smooth naked chest visible. Paul always looked simply beautiful when he was sleeping. Richard walked into the room, sitting on the edge of the bed. At that moment Paul’s eyes flicked open, and he looked up at Rich.

“Morning sleeping beauty.”

”Hey Rich. What time is it?”

“After 12. You planning on getting up?”

Paul looked towards the window, and saw the rain pouring down outside. He turned back to Rich and smiled.

“I’d rather get bitten by a snake.”

Rich smiled and leant down closer to Paul, so their faces were just inches apart. He kissed him lightly on the lips. Paul wrapped his arms around Rich, pulling him closer and deeper into the kiss. Eventually Rich pulled away breathless.

“I think we’d better go and get Rove.”

”Why? You want him to join us?”

Rich raised an eyebrow.

“I just don’t think he needs to walk in on anything going on in here, the poor guy may end up needing therapy.”

Paul laughed.

“Okay we’ll go and say goodbye to Rove, then I am planning on taking a shower.”

Rich smiled.

“Is there room for two?”

“Don’t you remember Rich? We’ve fitted three people in there before. Now come here and give us another pash.”

Rich laughed and jumped up from the bed. Paul pouted.

“Come on Pauly. You’ll need a cup of coffee, cause trust me you’re going to be up for a while.”

Rich walked out of the room and Paul just shook his head and smiled.

“Tell me I’m dreaming.”
