�Bombs away!�

Tim came flying through the air and caused a huge splash as he hit the pool and almost landed on top of Richard. He came back to the surface and Rich cursed at him.

�Shit Tim! Watch it!�

�Sorry mate, didn�t see you there.�

Rich smacked Tim and then they went back to playing Marco Polo with Yon. Scod was apparently playing as well but he had disappeared when he saw an attractive woman laying poolside with a laptop computer. They were now engaged in conversation, knowing Scod it was about Dungeons & Dragons.

Gatesy was laying on a deckchair next to the pool in a pair of Speedos, working on his tan. No-one knew quite where Paul had got to, but pretty soon they found out. He came running back towards them closely followed by a young woman.

�Paul!�

�If I give you a beer will you please piss off?�

�If you give me a kiss as well.�

Deciding he might as well make the most of the situation Paul grabbed the woman and kissed her soundly. He then winked at her and gave her a can of beer that he had hidden under his towel. She wandered off with a big smile on her face. Paul walked over and lay next to Gatesy, who smiled.

�Hey Paul, she was cute. Another fan?�

Paul just shook his head.

�I�m 43 years old, how can these damn teenyboppers still find me attractive?�

Gatesy wiggled his eyebrows.

�Cause you�re fine looking man McDermott. Even when you are getting drunk.�

Paul smiled and threw Gatesy a beer.

�Well I�m not getting drunk alone.�

Gatesy smiled and cracked open the beer, then went back to reading his Playboy magazine. A while later Scod wandered back over to join them, having torn himself away from the woman and her computer.

�Shit! It�s a bee!�

Scod began to run around like a girl, trying to get away from the bee. Paul and Gatesy looked over at him and couldn�t help but laugh. Scod glared at them while still trying to swat away the bee.

�It�s not funny! We once had a bee infestation at our house and it made me afraid of them!�

Paul and Gatesy cracked up even more and Scod ran and jumped into the pool to escape the bee, landing on top of Tim and Rich who were trying to do summersaults or something. Scod came up for breath and swore when he saw that Yon had gone to talk to his computer woman.

�Hey goblin boy she�s mine!�

He jumped out of the pool and ran over. Tim and Rich went back to their summersaults. Gatesy deposited another empty beer can on the ground and turned to Paul.

�Hey Paul, there�s some bushes over there.�

Paul looked over and smiled.

�What�s your point?�

�I thought we could disprove the theory that you can�t teach an old dog new tricks.�

Paul smirked and got to his feet, pulling Gatesy up with him. He leant in and whispered in Gatesy�s ear, causing him to shiver.

�Oh but I�ve got a lot of old tricks I can teach you mate.�
