Part 5
You... you live where" Dina asked slightly shocked, even though she's heard very well what he said.
"Yeah I live below you"
They just stood there staring at eachother, the electricity between them even stronger than it had been the other 2 times. Even when Ezzy nudged her in the back mumbling about an introduction, their gaze didnt break.
"This is Ezzy and thats Bails" she said quietly waving her hand in a backward motion indicating towards her friends who were staring, mouthes open at their new neighbour.
"Do you want to go for a walk" Paul asked after 2 minutes or so. Dina nodding and closing the door behind her without saying a word to her friends. They walked silently down the stairs and towards the beach in silence. Midway down the beach Paul stopped to face the water, admiring the sunset and the beauty of everything when no-one else was around. Dina moved next to him and their fingers entwined.
"I feel so confused. Yesterday i was talking to Mikey about how ive never felt anything for someone I've never talked to and gotten to know... but you... as soon as i made eye contact it just...I dont know"
"I know what you mean" was all she said, knowing more about the whole thing, knowing why he was feeling the way he was. Their conversation was minimal, the only major occurence was their deciding to sit and watch the sun setting in the horizon. Half an hour passed and they decided it would be best to head back, and did so silently again.
Without another word they parted and Dina passed her friends going strait to her room, removing the pendant and placing it under her pillow before readying herself for an early nights sleep, dreaming about Paul.
First thing she did in the morning was dress in a tracksuit and head out towards the beach for an early morning jog. Something she usually didnt do but had some extra energy to burn. About 5 minutes later she noticed a familiar figure sitting on the beach, it was Paul. She smiled when she knew he had seen her and began her way over but stopped when he stood and almost seemed to run away. Confused she thought about everything that had just happened.
"What's gone wrong?"
