Part 28
We walked for a while and ended up getting to the cave. We moved Richard to the bed of hay and set up the sleeping bags so that we would have something to sit on.
I picked up the back packs and began to go through them so that i could find out how much food we had left. All i could find was a few breakfast bars and 3 bottles of water. I looked again through the other bags and found a block of chocolate that Tim must have stashed before we left.
"Guy's we have a slight problem here. We only have a few breakfast bars left and thats not going to be enough... We're going to have to find something to eat or we're not going to last here much longer..."
Paul looked at me... and Jenny... and Rich... and
Tim.... and then back to me again...
"We'll i remember seeing some traps outside the cave.... why dont we try to... catch something ourselves? like... really rough it?"
"Thats a really good idea Paul" I said smiling...
"yeah??? Cool"
Paul went out and got some of the traps... He came back inside and gave one to Tim...
"Here ya go bumstead... why dont you go set a trap"
He looked at the trap strangly and looked back at Paul..
"Huh?"
"Look Dickhead... open this and push the button"
he said showing Tim how to set the trap...
Tim just sighed and took the trap outside..
"Ill be back soon" Paul said and headed out towards Tim.
A few minutes later they both returned.
"Its beautiful out there... I never thought the morning could look so nice...."
Paul said and Tim made faces behind his back
"Is he going to wake up soon?" Jenny said from Richards side.. She was increadibly worried about him.. every time he moved she would jump up and say his name...
"I want to be here when he wakes up" She said
"Yes you will be here when he wakes up... we're not going anywhere"
She smiled and went back to stroaking Rich's hand.
I handed around half a breakfast bar each so that we could have something to eat.
Me and Paul sat together and talked a little about the dinner we were going to have when we get back home...
"i Have to shit" Paul said and got up... Charming thing to say after breakfast i thought...
I talked to Jenny for a while and suddenly i heard this screaming coming from outside....
Paul came running in with his pants around his ancles. Tim laughed and Jenny looked up curiously..
"Paul??? What happened"
"Ive been bitten... a snake... a huge ugly brown snake...... IT HURT!!!!!"
"Ok Paul, settle down ill have a look at it...."
He stopped and stared at me...
"You?"
"Do you want to die of poisoning!"
He thought a minute and then gave in.... He bent over and gave me a wonderful view that i wish i had a camera for... Except for the teeth marks...
"You going to have to suck the poison!" Tim yelled laughing hysterically...
"Shut up Tim!!!! This is serious"
"Umm.... im losing feeling in my legs.... "
I thought a few seconds...
"Im going to have to suck the poison..."
"WHAT!!!" Jenny, Tim and Paul yelled..
"I was only joking" Tim said...
"Your going to suck my arse???"
"I could find something else to suck if you like... "
He thought about this for a few seconds and had a huge smile on his face.... then his legs gave way...
"Ok..."
He laid strait on his stomach and i looked at his round rear sticking up at me...
This was deffinatly something to remember... and hey, if He ever becomes famous... i can say i sucked on Paul Mcdermott's arse...
I leaned in and put my lips over his wound and sucked until i felt the poison came out...
I spat it out and took a bandaid out of my pocket and covered the bite marks...
"Was it as good for you as it was for me?"
I said and everyone laughed...
"Thanks... Again"
He got up and pulled his pants up....
"Lets check the traps" I said and everyone agreed..
