Part 8

Paul was halfway through getting dressed when there was a knock on the door. He threw a shirt on, not bothering to button it, and went to see who it was.

He was pleasantly surprised to see Corinne looking back at him when he opened the door.

"Hey."

"Hey Paul. Can we talk?"

"Sure, come in."

Corinne walked past Paul into the room. She walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed, once again staring at the floor, not willing to meet his gaze.

"What's going on with us?"

Paul walked over, kneeling down on the floor in front of Corinne, his hands resting on her knees. She had no choice but to look him in the eyes now. He smiled.

"I love you Corinne. I've always loved you. I know we said different, but every time I was with you it meant a hell of a lot more to me than just sex. I love you, and I'm not going to hide my feelings anymore."

Corinne felt a single tear slide down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away. She smiled down at Paul, knowing that she had no reason to doubt her feelings for him anymore.

"I love you too Paul. Always have and always will. I'm sorry for not realizing that sooner."

Paul smiled, his heart literally pounding in his chest as he heard her speak the words he had been longing to hear for so long. Their lips came together, their kisses now tender and more passionate than ever before.

Corinne placed her hands on Paul's chest, slowly sliding the shirt from his shoulders and dropping it to the floor. Paul smiled, his hands running up and down Corinne's thighs. He lifted up her shirt, trailing soft kisses across her stomach and she moaned softly, running her hands through his hair. Paul had just unbuttoned her pants when the phone interrupted them.

Paul looked up at Corinne and smiled.

"Hold that thought."

He got to his feet and went and found his jacket, searching around in the pocket for his mobile phone. He answered it. It was Wil. As Paul spoke, Corinne climbed off the bed, walking over to him. She began to kiss her way down his chest. She unbuttoned his jeans and pulled them down along with his boxers.

Still talking on the phone, Paul looked down and shook his head at her. Corinne simply smiled up at him and then leant in and took his length into her mouth. He resisted the urge to cry out, instead trying to keep his composure on the phone.

"Um Wil I gotta go, see you in a little while okay? Okay bye."

Paul hung up the phone and Corinne released him from her mouth and looked up. He shook his head and smiled.

"That was evil."

She raised an eyebrow.

"So you're going to punish me for it?"

"Maybe later. Right now we have to go to Rove's."

Corinne pouted at him, but he ignored it. Instead he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her long and hard. He pulled away and smirked.

"That'll hold you until later."

Paul went and grabbed his shirt off the floor, pulling it back on. Corinne stood there and watched him, knowing full well he knew that kiss of his had only left her wanting more.
